I love Pappy’s place! I’ve been here a few times and the food is always amazing. If you’re looking for a hole in the wall spot with amazing bbq, I would check here. Their prices are great for the amount of food you get and the service is very mom and pop (friendly and nice). Seating is rather limited, so don’t plan on bring a large group as most of their tables only hold 4. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

It's a small little building but the decor makes it a great place to dine. The money on the ceiling and the news paper's on the wall make a new atmosphere that you can't get anywhere else in Springfield. The "usuals" that came in seemed to have a great relationship with everybody who came and left. It's a great place to eat when you want to feel at home.

My parents and I were looking for a authentic ma and pop place and were a bit sceptical at first, but were pleasantly surprised by the bbq and history. We would personally recommend the pulled pork, hot links, and pulled beef sandwich! Will return. Dont let the location fool you!

I used to live a couple houses down from this place, the food is great service is friendly and some days or at certain times the place has business parked all out front. I seen quite a few people bring walk-in business as well in my neighborhood for it's convenient location. It will for sure be my go-to BBQ joint.
